Cyclist legend Lance Armstrong reached the end of his comeback to the cycling world when on Monday he broke his right collarbone after a fall during the first stage of a race that was to be held over five-days in Spain. Armstrong will return to the United States soon where he will under go tests to see if he will need surgery. The seven-time Tour de France champ crashed in the last 10 miles of the 168-km stage when he broke his collarbone, the first time he has ever suffered such an injury. “It’s pretty painful, just wait and see how it heals.” said Armstrong. Other riders fell in the crash but Armstrong was the only rider injured. We’re hoping the American hero and legend in the cycling world makes a speedy recovery!
