There are bicycle enthusiasts who ride their bikes for exercise and to keep in shape, but for enthusiasts like Bob Maddox in the US it’s all about going fast. How fast? How about 73mph with the help of a small jet engine. Maddox isn’t a stranger to jet powered bicycles, last year he built a jet powered bike that went 50mph. His next attempt shattered his previous record, powered by dual-exhaust pulse jet engine Maddox went 73mph on a deserted back road. He uses two engines that have been combined to cycle as one larger engine that features a throttle and even a push button start. We’re waiting to hear about Bob Maddox hitting 100mph.
